Hei, it's me, Your magical vacuum cleaner!
Creativity is my way to engage with society and other people. I move swimmingly and as needed between visual design, fine art, and cultural production. My work emphasizes community, diversity, and the power of positive change.
After 20 years in the field of collaborative arts & culture, and even after seeing the impact of my work, I still felt out of place and lost. When asked about my passion or why I get up in the morning, I would hastily come up with something or say what I thought others wished to hear. My unconventional artistic approach felt too scattered, like a kaleidoscope.
Learning from a mistake
I decided to move aside my own artistic practice and focus solely on the roles of producer and expert. What a mistake! I quickly realized that my inspiration and ability to discover new things was disappearing. I needed to rediscover my joy of creating, by bringing colorful visuality and play back into my life.
I gradually made my return to handicraft and visual design, which are like meditation, through my fingertips and eyes. By cozy and silent work I found opportunity to reflect the past and clarify my future.

These wise words by the ever-so-gorgeous Dolly Parton in mind, I made peace with my diverse professional identities. I now consider my versatile approach to creativity as my greatest asset. As a dear friend and colleague of mine pointed out, "You're like a 'magic vacuum cleaner' that absorbs and collects different ideas and turns them into meaningful experiences."
