I have been working in creative fields for over 20 years in various roles and contexts. My work has left lasting impressions: distinctive brands, new art forms and audiences, community events, opportunities for peer learning, and immersive spaces.

However, my unconventional approach always felt too scattered. When asked about my passion or why I get up in the morning, I would hastily come up with an answer or say what I thought others wanted to hear.

In 2019 I decided to move aside my own artistic practice and focus solely on the roles of producer and expert. What a mistake! I quickly realized that my inspiration and ability to discover new things was disappearing. 

I needed to rediscover my personal joy of creating, by bringing colorful visuality and innovative play back into my life. I gradually made my return to handicraft and visual design, which are like meditation to me, through my fingertips and eyes. In the process, the idea of my own company was born.

 These wise words by the ever-so-gorgeous Dolly Parton in mind, I made peace with my diverse professional identities. I now consider my versatile approach to creativity as my greatest asset. As a dear friend and colleague of mine pointed out, "You're like a 'magic vacuum cleaner' that absorbs and collects different ideas and turns them into meaningful experiences."

Studio Pikkelflik is my creative campfire, from which I explore the world with curiosity and transform ideas into concrete projects. I live a life beyond the reach of monotony, combining my diverse artistic passions and goals!
